A few things I love… for the house

November 17th, 2009 :: 6:42 pm

When asked what my house is like, most of my family and friends would say “BROWN!”

It’s true, I love warm, rich browns and varying shades cover most of my walls. And my furniture. And my windows. Ok, ok, ok… Maybe it could be perceived as a little over done. BUT the brown is the perfect canvas for lots of bright, vividly coloured accents.

Like this Pendleton throw in turquoise, red… and brown.

Maybe I need therapy.

OK, there is no brown in these fabulous canisters. And the primary colour scheme is so southwestern!

They would be perfectly matched by these lovely pieces of pottery.

Mom? Are you reading this? Christmas is coming!

I spotted the canisters and pottery at The Maverick in Fort Worth, TX.

    LOVE those canisters! You have amazing taste in colours and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with loving browns :) I think we share that love b/c the majority of our house is browns…it’s fun to accent!
