Shari

Shari grew up on a family farm in rural Manitoba where her family continues to operate a mix of grain land and an Angus based commercial cattle herd. Her passion for agriculture was developed through her involvement in 4-H, the Manitoba Junior Angus Association, the Manitoba Angus Association and while earning her Agribusiness Diploma at Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta.

After the completion of her college diploma, Shari set off to take extra training and education to become a Certified UGC Ultrasound Technician. She is now the proud owner and operator of UltraBeef Ultrasound Services (www.ultrabeef.ca)where she enjoys traveling all across Manitoba and other parts of western Canada to ultrasound beef cattle for carcass data. Shari currently resides in a rural community in Manitoba not far from the family farm. This is where she also has a full time occupation in the malting barley industry.

Shari is extremely enthusiastic about the agriculture industry and strongly believes in its future! Look for Shari’s Manitoban perspective on anything western or ag-inspired, from home décor to jewelry to ag events!
