Stacy Young

Stacy grew up on a Purebred Simmental farm 1hr SW of Edmonton, Alberta. She was very active in 4-H and Junior livestock programs. Over the years she serves as both Provincial and National President of the Young Canadian Simmental Association.
Stacy then traveled to Lethbridge College where she obtained a diploma in Communication Arts majoring in Advertising and Public Relations. Her goal always was to take the knowledge that she learned through school and apply it to the Agriculture industry.
Stacy now works as an Event Planner in Edmonton. She hopes to specialize in Agriculture and Sporting events. She also does some work in Public Relations and Marketing.
Stacy continues to have her roots deep in agriculture and a western life, while living in the city. She maintains a small herd of Purebred Simmental cattle in her parents herd High Country Cattle Services. She also maintains a blog of her own http://anewday-sly.blogspot.com/. There she discusses everything from fashion to cattle, entertainment and some of her favourite blogs and websites.
