Christmas presents for the future!
This Christmas was our first one with our son Sloan! At first, I thought I was going to be very practical and only buy a few things…
Then I had a friend show us some awesome wood farm toys that a friend of hers Grandpa had built! So I decided this was a great opportunity to get the same guy to build Sloan some items! I had already bought Sloan a Fisher Price crawl and play around singing barn and numerous other presents but decided this was a must-have for down the road.
So, I ordered a barn, a shed, corrals, a feed trough, a set of bucking chutes, and an arena for around them! When I got them I was in disbelief as to how awesome it all was and well built – the price was a steal of a deal. I filled Sloan’s stocking up with the little farm/ rodeo animals so he is set for when he is old enough…which will be a few years! ha ha…
My husband has done Professional Bullfighting up until last year. The tough decision was made to push hard with our oilfield welding company and real estate business instead of chasing pro rodeos and bull riding’s across Canada. He definitely has big dreams for Sloan with rodeo, if he wants! I am sure a pony is going to arrive shortly for Sloan to practice on with his Dad! For Sloan’s first Christmas and being only 6 months old, he got so spoiled by all grandparents, aunts and uncles.
