Queens

February 2nd, 2010 :: 7:22 am

During the holidays – my hubby John and I were able to see lots of fabulous friends while in Texas. We enjoyed seeing our friend’s Clint & Angela and checking out their new home. I was excited about a couple pieces of art that Angela had hanging.

Robyn: “Where did you get these paintings?”

Angela: “At the Fort Worth Stock Show last year.”

Robyn: “Do you know who the artist is?”

Angela: “No.”

Hmm…I proceeded to be “that” snoopy friend gawking at the paintings looking for the artists name. I wasn’t able to make out the script – which ended up being the artists last name. I even returned home and looked on the Fort Worth Stock Show website, in hopes of finding a list of the past exhibitor’s names – no luck.

Fast forward 35 days- I discovered gorgeous newborn pictures of Clint & Angela’s new baby girl – Karsyn (congrats – she’s gorgeous) on Facebook . Surprisingly they were captured with the two paintings I like so much, as the backdrop!

The talented and sweet – Marisa Swarbrick (Photography) had kindly included the name of the artist - ”Queen of the Trailer Park” when she posted the pictures on her Facebook page. Lucky!! Thanks Marisa for aiding in my search.

Enjoy exploring Diane Holland Gregory’s website - Queen of the Trailer Park. It has awesome music that accompanies your tour through her collections of home decor – canvas art, crosses, and much more!
