Baby Blankets
After having a wedding and baby shower… I have realized cash is one of the easiest things to use as a gift to purchase what you need. Last year, we had a pile of wedding gifts to give out and this year we have more baby gifts to give, then I can count! I love cash but hate going to a shower with only a cheque or bill… so I decided I was going to make something to go with my money gift from now on (unless I get backed up! haha).
I have made a few blankets/ quilts before so I used to an easy way to make a fleece blanket with no sewing and made numerous in different colors to add to my baby presents!

It is pretty simple to make this one…2 same sized pieces of fleece, cut inward about 1″ strips all the way around and tie the 2 pieces together in a knot! It is so simple and no sewing! So if you have a baby coming, don’t be surprised if you get one of these from us!

What a fabulous and easy idea!! We too are beginning to have LOTS of wedding and baby gifts to give the past couple years and it shows no signs of slowing down! I may just have to try making some of these :) Thanks for the idea!

These are my favorite kinds of blankets. We always had lots around the house during college and I now have some that better match my decor.
