One day we plan to have a place in Texas and Alberta. My only fear are the creatures – snakes in particular. I don’t prefer snakes – actually I despise them. I’m convinced when we do have a home in the Lonestar State, that I will have an exterminator and snake hunter on full time, 24 hour payroll. When my Texas ranching friends – Casey Roon & Catherine (Our Little Ranch) write about their snake finds – the hair instantly stands up on the back of my neck.

I came across this pair of boots today that I really like.

I don’t think this picture does justice to them – because if I would have seen this first, I would not have taken a second look.

HOWEVER – this is the picture that made me say “awesome” – it was in the NRS (NRSworld.com) Spring Catalog.

Fantastic boots…maybe I was attracted to the word COPPER in the name of the style – Copper Python!?
