Dress code of the New West #1

June 10th, 2010 :: 2:19 pm

Two factors contributed to this little test series:

  1. I adore Cathryn’s “Look of the Week” on her blog farmerstrophywife.com
  2. Robyn often comments on the crazy outfits I put together

… and so I decided to take a stab at posting the odd look that I create from scratch. Most of my outfits are a mix of trendy street wear with great western pieces. Illustrated by…

Outfit Numero 1

From top to bottom: Stella and Dot necklace, 3/4 sleeve long white button up shirt, black leggings, Corral Vintage boots with turquoise inlay.

What I love about it: I love simple clothing items with stand-out boots and jewelry. Plus, leggings are the go-to comfy item in my closet. Combined with the billowy, belted long top to camouflage hips while defining your waist, this outfit can be worn by almost anyone!
