Dress Code of the New West #12
Today, I want to highlight my favorite western couture designer, Double D Ranch. Their collections are always amazing, and I look forward to seeing their new fall line every year. I only have a few pieces in my closet, but I’m continually saving to add more. No one does cowgirl couture like Double D!
The Persian Paisley Dress from their Fall 2010 collection is absolutely gorgeous. I love the color palette, the design, the embroidery detailing… I love everything about it! Simply stunning.

Their jackets are to die for. Exquisite textures and details make them treasures for a lifetime.

I also appreciate the fantastic job they do with color.

And then there are the skirts. Oh how I adore the styles!

They also do accessories that I could spend beaucoups of money on. These are some of my fave belts, but they also create beautiful jewelry.

I have quite a few ‘vintage DD’ jackets from my Western Wear days, leaving my paychecks at the store in exchange for fantastic clothes. They are timeless & well made. I wear mine with pride when people ask me where I got such a fabulous jacket!

Shelagh, I am ultimately jealous! A western store is one of my long-term goals, almost purely for that side benefit. Someday I will own a DD Ranchwear leather duster…
